Ezra House Update

After months of administrative applications and processes with local government bodies, construction on the long-awaited Ezra House began in March this year (2015). It is one of three buildings being constructed simultaneously on the Gospel Heights development owned by the Manukau Christian Charitable Trust. Ezra House began, conceptually, as a relatively modest single level structure, but expanded to become an imposing one-and-a-half level ministry centre. At Home with the Lord

On Sunday afternoon, August 2nd 2015, Nola Young, wife of the Ezra Ministry Director Andrew, died peacefully in Middlemore Hospital, Auckland. As many readers and supporters of the Ezra Ministry will know, Nola had suffered a stroke in October 2011 that left her paralysed down her right side and speech and sight impaired. While recovering a measure of speech, she never regained her mobility and was wheel-chair bound for the almost four years she lived after the stroke. Information Evening

67 people from a range of denominational backgrounds and locations turned out on Saturday night 19th of August 2011 for the inaugural Information Evening for the Ezra Ministry held in Auckland. Appointee-Director Dr. Andrew Young led the gathering in a brief time of worship before speaking to a PowerPoint presentation introducing the Ministry. The presentation highlighted the nature of the Ezra Ministry, its historical background, its goals, underlying principles, and proposed activities and publications.
